Lazerpoint RF™ Takes Wireless Door Control to a New Level

Lazerpoint RF™ from Camden is a truly innovative product, designed go beyond the performance of conventional wireless systems. It overcomes the limitations of existing wireless door activation products, as well as providing a reliable and economic alternative to hardwired systems.

Performance

While most RF products operate at a crowded and limited frequency range (310-433Mhz), the Camden Lazerpoint™ operates at a higher, FCC approved frequency -- 915Mhz. This means the Lazerpoint™ has a better range, stronger performance, and reduced interference even through construction materials.

Camden uses spread spectrum technology to transmit three frequencies at once (rather than the usual one), which ensures that the signal always gets through. And don't worry about poor battery life either, because this product minimizes voltage and current draw to great effect. A single set of AAA batteries can provide over 600 000 operations. Once the battery begins to get low, Camden's industry-exclusive built-in sounder allows the user to check the battery by pressing and holding the switch for 5 seconds. The resulting 1 to 5 beeps will indicate the battery's strength.

Flexibility

While Lazerpoint™ operates at 915Mhz, the receiver features two plug-in slots to accommodate special daughterboards, which are additional tiny receivers that work with transmitters on other frequencies. It will work with two different daughterboards simultaneously, and is compatible with almost every other commonly used RF system.

Not to mention, Lazerpoint™ is supported by the largest selection of switches and mounting enclosures in the industry -- so you will have plenty of options!

Easy Installation

Camden Lazerpoint RF™ uses new technologies to minimize the size of the transmitter and receiver -- thanks to the transmitter's small size, it can be installed behind any switch. Therefore, it's easy to fit in a standard jamb box, and you'll never have to worry about installing it beside or on top of the automatic door header. The receiver is also small, no larger than a business card!

The RX-92 Lazerpoint™ receiver is equipped with everything you need for installation, which means you don't need to spend time or money on special transmitters or additional equipment. It has two 3-Amp relays, three 1-30 second potentiometers, and six different operating modes.

Guesswork is taken out of the installation process by the on-board visual Signal Strength Visualizer™, which flashes a red or green LED to indicate the strength of the signal from the transmitter.
